2 Year Courses - Mathematics
AS-level and A-level
For suitable candidates, Mathematics is a valuable A-level qualification which has become increasingly desirable in recent years as a support subject in areas such as Science, Geography, Economics and Business Studies.
Courses are selected from a choice of modules leading to full AS-level or A-level in Mathematics.
The modules are:
Pure Mathematics C1, C2, C3, C4 and either Mechanics M1, M2 or Statistics S1, S2 (UHS only).
Three module exams lead to an AS-level qualification and six to an Alevel. Each module exam is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Entry requirement
The courses are only suitable for students who have a natural aptitude for solving problems and who enjoy the subject. Potential candidates must have achieved at least grade A at higher level Maths GCSE.
