Leaving School Early or Taken Ill

If a student has an appointment and needs to leave school early she must inform her Year Head who should sign her planner before she signs out at the General Office.

A student taken ill and wishes to leave early should inform her tutor, Year Head or Head of Key Stage 5, who will sign her planner authorising her to leave school.  She must then sign out at the General Office.  Students are not allowed to go home ‘unwell’ without consulting an appropriate member of staff.

In cases of medical emergency the first available member of staff should be informed.  Head of Key Stage 5 should be informed as soon as possible.  Students should be referred to the medical room at Ursuline High School.
